The Wisenet SKY Product Wizard was designed to help determine which Bridge/CMVR and switches are needed based the type and quantity of cameras.
  Navigation
  Click "Next" at top or bottom of page to move forward and backward through the Wizard.
  Select Bridges & CMVRs
  Narrow the results to specific Bridges and CMVRs by checking each one row by row. Click "Next" to move to the Produt Wizard Results. It is possible to select All possibilities on the Results page even without selecting individual Bridges or CMVRs.
  Product Wizard Results
  The results are very accurate if all the information about each camera group is fully entered. Additional Features & Options can be selected. The Local Display via Monitor feature uses additional resources. This is represented in the Product Wizard as "Local Display HDMI".
  A "reset" button is available to reset the wizard to default.
  Camera Groups
  There are 4 groups of cameras in order to use multiple types, each with different settings. This will provide a more accurate recommendation. Set each group. Leave a group at 0 (zero) for Camera Quantity to remove it from the estimate.
  Camera Types
  ·       IP ONVIF - the main setting for supported IP Cameras which is dual stream: Preview=MJPEG and Full=h.264
  ·       IP (Single Stream) - Cameras that cannot provide dual stream can be manually set to single stream. This requires 3x the resources because the preview video has to be created from the h.264 full video stream.
  ·       IP Dual h.264 - These cameras require "dual-h264" - they cannot provide the second stream of MJPEG at the required frame rate. This requires approximately 30% more resources because the preview video has to be created from a second low resolution h.264 full video stream.
  Camera Resolution (MegaPixels)
  Set this to the total Megapixels of a camera. Megapixels = width * height in pixels. For best accuracy, enter decimal numbers. For example, 1920x1080= 2.1 MP
  1MP = 1
  1MP = 1 (1MP camera is also known as HD1 and is usually 1280x720)
  2MP = 2
  2MP is usually 1920x1080
  Number of Cameras with Bridge Analytics Active
  Set how many of the cameras in each group that will have Bridge based Analytics. Bridge based Analytics require more Bridge/CMVR resources.
  Preview Resolution
  Set the preview resolution to be used for each camera group. Preview resolution affects bandwidth and resources. The Product Wizard uses "1" as the update rate for previews which is 1 fps. HD Coax cameras should be set to CIF (320x240).
  Days of Retention
  Set to the desired days of retention for each camera group. For the Bridge this is Cloud Retention. For the CMVR, it is local retention. A CMVR may be used as a Bridge for Cloud Retention and to allow a larger buffer to synchronize full video to the Cloud.
  Image Quality
  Set the image quality used for Full Video recording. This affects the bandwidth and storage. Medium is the default. Low is approximately half of Medium. High is approximately 2x Medium.  This also accounts for frames per second (fps). Low = 10fps, Medium = 12fps, High=15fps.
  Scene Type
  This relates to the duty cycle of the camera, which is the percentage of time the camera will be recording based on motion. Set the type of scene the camera will view. This affects bandwidth and storage. Outdoor cameras produce the highest duty cycle.
  ·       Indoor (not busy) - A back door or hallway camera with only a small amount of activity. 25% duty cycle
  ·       Indoor (medium) - This is the default and assumes activity 50% of the time.
  ·       Indoor (busy) - A lobby or entrance that has high activity. 75% duty cycle.
  ·       Outdoor - Any camera that is outdoors has a much higher amount of activity than indoor cameras. 100% duty cycle. If for a 24 hour business with high activity, set to Outdoor.
  Additional Features
  Set the features based on intended use.
  ·       Local Display HDMI - The Local Display via Monitor feature is where a physical monitor connected to the video output of the Bridge/CMVR. The number of cameras shown on the monitor each take additional resources. Set the grid to the approximate number of cameras to be used for Local Display via Monitor.
  ·       Resource Threshold - this is the % of resources (CPU & RAM) to show matching results. For example, set to 80% to leave room for future camera installations or additional analytics.
  ·       CMVR Hard Drive Threshold - this is in % and allows adjusting the threshold for how full to allow the hard drive for results.
  Results
  Switches and Bandwidth
  A summary is shown first with the total number of cameras, total megapixels, and total days of retention used for the estimated results.
  Recommended Switch – The result here may be multiple switches. The largest managed switch available is 24 ports.
  Cloud Bandwidth Needed Daily Average (Mbps) - This is the amount of upload bandwidth in Megabits Per Second that are needed to get all the video synchronized to the Eagle Eye Cloud. This also includes metatdata and previews.
  Suggested Bandwidth for Live Viewing - In order to live view cameras, at least double the amount of bandwidth is needed that the camera's full video is set to.  For example, a camera at 1MP set to medium quality (which is the default) needs 2 Mbps upload to allow 1Mps for video and the needed overhead for continued previews and metadata.
  Approximate Utilization - this is an estimate of the CPU and RAM resources needed. Note that you can set the Resource Threshold under Additional Features & Options.

  Show Only Selected or Show ALL
  Show Only Selected is shown by default. This gives results based on the selected Bridges and CMVRs from the "Select Bridges & CMVRs" page. To change selections, click "Previous" at the top or bottom of the page. If nothing is selected, all possible results are shown.
  Click the "Show ALL (none selected" to show all possible Bridges & CMVRs regardless of what is selected on the previous page.

  Best Match
  Each Bridge or CMVR that is a single match is shown with approximate utilization. A CMVR also shows the approximate Hard Drive usage as percentage. Bridges are only for 100% cloud retention without local storage.  CMVRs have capacity for local storage, but can also be used for Cloud Retention.
  Multiple Bridge and CMVR
  Returns “x” number of each individual Bridge or CMVR required based on the input data. CMVRs shown here must match the required local storage needed for the desired local retention.
  CMVR Only
  Returns “x” number of CMVRs required based on the input data. If the CMVR can be used for local retention, it will show a Hard Drive percentage. If it can only be used for 100% Cloud Retention, it will indicate by showing “CLOUD ONLY Retention” in place of Hard Drive percentage.
  Show All (no details)
  Results of Best Match, Multi Bridge & CMVR, and CMVR as Bridge are shown but without the SKU and approximate resources.

   Select one or multiple Bridges and CMVRs to show in results, then click "Next." If none selected, results will show all.
